Sven Enßer, Head of Sales Germany, is living the BACHMANN spirit

Interview conducted by Andrea Hartmair, Head of Marketing

In a personal interview, Sven Enßer (42) tells us that he has been enthusiastic about BACHMANN for a long time, about the internal and external cooperation and about the products. Sven's eyes light up when he is talking of his plans and visions underscoring his passion.

Sven has been at home in the BACHMANN sales team since 2016, and as of 01.07.2021 he has now taken over responsibility for BACHMANN's core market Germany as Head of Sales Germany.

Andrea:
Sven, after holding positions in key accounting, project sales and most recently regional management for southern Germany, you are now taking on overall responsibility for Germany - how does that feel for you?

Sven:
This is both an exciting and valuable step for me. I feel appreciated for my work over the last few years and at the same time I am full of drive. I am very much looking forward to being even more strategically involved. And to achieving our goals together with my team.

Andrea:
What will be your first big topics in your new role?

Sven:
For me, the first priority is the successful implementation of the reorganization. We have repositioned our structures in sales and now we need to establish these new structures and draw on the power of the new. We have reduced the size of our sales regions in Germany and can therefore show up more personal to our customers and their needs. We are also repositioning ourselves more broadly in the sales force so that we can offer a holistic sales approach even more easily and quickly.

Andrea:
And in terms of content, what particularly appeals to you there?

Sven:
We have long since ceased to be a pure PDU manufacturer, but are moving further and further into the system and service worlds in addition to the classic retail portfolio. With our young Next Generation Office brand, for example, we serve customers ranging from small family businesses to international big players with stand-alone systems or state-of-the-art workplace management systems such as the iotspot in our DESK 2. This diversity, as well as the innovative paths that I get to take with BACHMANN and the entire community, inspire me every day.

Andrea:
I can actually relate to that. Now one final question:

What do you love most about your job?

Sven:
I get up every morning for BACHMANN as if it was my own company. It enriches me every day and I always enjoy working and being at work. Just as I love spending time with my wife and sons around it - that's real life quality for me.

Andrea:
Thank you, Sven, for your time and good luck with your new tasks.
